WHY "Ah...Boheme!"?
In our name we honor the Bohemian farmers who--in 1852--settled the Hopkins area. Individualistic and ambitious, these Bohemian immigrants founded an agricultural economy that made Hopkins a center for raspberry exports. In the 1880's railroads laid track into the area to send the rich, red berry far and wide.
It is in the hardworking spirit of these freedom loving founders that "Ah...Boheme!" derives it's name.

"Ah...Boheme!" is perfectly situated near an extensive system of bikeways. (18k from Minneapolis to Minnetonka). The historic depot on which Harley Hopkins put his name houses a coffee shop and presides over a major east-west bikeway linking Minneapolis to points west. And for springtime canoeists navigating Minnehaha Creek at high water from Lake Minnetonka, "Ah...Boheme!" is a great stopping off place.
