Our Hopkins, Minnesota store is filled with a wonderous collection of trinkets, treasures and oddities. The experienced collector and the casual browser will truly enjoy our wonderful collection of jewelry, glassware, china, books, toys, art and most of all--the unexpected. Look out! You just might happen to spy an equisite sevententh century soapstone carving of Christ nestled quietly amid two small watercolors painted works of artist Paul Graf. Or how about the fabulous artwork of Monica Sjoo "Dragon Rising" signed and dated by the artist herself balanced atop a Civil War era butter churn. Surprises everywhere! It is a resounding orchestration of time traveling objects that incites a person to reclaim what was forgotten.

A Special Note: On May 26th the Suburban Square Shopping Center which houses several Hopkins' businesses was struck by fire. Sadly enough, TNT-Theasures N' Treats was completely destroyed. Antiques At Shady Oak was also affected. Nancy & Hal who operate the mall--and have made a home for many Hopkins dealers over the years--now have a lot of hard work ahead of them. We in the Hopkins' community who collect and share our passion for antiques and collectibles through our small dealer owned businesses are a close knit bunch. Hal & Nancy are a vital and creative force in our community. Years ago, when Mary Frances Antiques lost it's home, it was Hal & Nancy who stepped up to the plate and created a new place for MFA dealers to sell their wares at Shady Oak & Mainstreet. I was one of those dealers. In addition, Nancy and Hal were instrumental in the creation of HASA--uniting the common interests of Hopkins dealers in a business organization. We at "Ah...Boheme!" extend our heartfelt condolences to the Suburban Square businesses and hard working dealers who have suffered so much. We hope like the proverbial Phoenix of old rising from it's own ashes that Antiques At Shady Oak--and the other affected businesses-- can find hope and strength enough to survive this set-back and rebuild their businesses in short order.
